When we delay making a decision…
When we ignore the problem…
When we avoid the uncomfortable decision….
…we’re delaying the inevitable. Often, what is delayed gets worse and magnified.
Then, instead of you getting to choose how to respond and manage the situation, your hand is forced into making a decision.
A decision that many times doesn’t benefit you and leaves the relationship sour.
Being proactive allows you to create options. Take ownership of the situation, address it promptly, and create solutions together. Being able to play a role in the outcome is better than being reactive or having to play defense.
What decisions do you need to make this week?
What problems do you need to acknowledge and address this week?
Who do you need to have a candid conversation with because you respect the relationship?
You eliminate a lot of unnecessary stress when you’re proactive. It also allows you to spend your energy on more valuable challenges.
I encourage you to take ownership and be proactive with your outcomes!
